Thick, beautiful, shiny hair is entirely achievable. You only need to apply a few simple methods, which can significantly improve the results. If you dream of them too, check out the solutions that can help you and your hair!
Where to start?

First of all, it should be noted that thin and weak hair can be caused by many factors. Before taking any action, it’s worth effectively identifying the source of the problem, so that you can achieve the desired results as quickly as possible. The cause may be an incorrect choice of cosmetics, an inappropriate diet, or genetic tendencies. Correctly identifying the cause will greatly facilitate starting the right treatments.
You can, however, always try changing some elements of your hair care routine to see how effective the suggested solutions are. If you are not sure what the source of the trouble is, you can test various methods that have already helped many people. Above all, don’t be discouraged by the lack of desired results at first, as the changes you make may be slow but may ultimately make a significant difference.
The basis – proper hair washing
To keep a chance of increasing hair volume, first check how you wash your hair. To begin with, remember that only lukewarm water should be used when rinsing your hair. Water that is too hot weakens the hair structure, and the hair becomes thin, moving us further from the goal. It is best to stop using a hairdryer – it doesn’t help weak strands either. It is better to dry them with a towel or, if necessary, use curling tongs or a hairdryer with a diffuser, but only on the cool or lukewarm setting.
Additionally, check the composition of the cosmetics you apply to your hair. Choose natural ingredients with a gentle formula, ideally designed for this hair type. It is also worth avoiding ethoxylated surfactants (on the label they are often listed as Sodium Laureth Sulfate, or SLES for short). Changing the order in which you apply your products, e.g. conditioner before shampoo, is also an interesting option. You may want to try this, particularly if your hair has thin, greasy strands.
What else can you do?
Above all, it’s worth paying attention to your diet. Your body needs a regular supply of vitamins and minerals. You can easily make a change by increasing your intake of fruit, vegetables and fibre-rich foods. In addition, you might consider supplements enriched with iron, biotin, chromium, folic acid and omega-3 fatty acids.
You can also try a method that few people know about. A significant improvement in hair density is achieved through… frequent brushing. Do it at least twice a day. This will considerably stimulate circulation in the scalp. In addition, you will regularly remove dirt and dead skin. These activities will certainly translate into an improvement in the condition of your hair. Try them, and you’ll see the results start to appear for you too!
