The holiday season is just around the corner, it is getting warmer and summer is fast approaching. The holidays are quite a tough time for our hair, as constant heat does not suit it and dries it out. Look after your hair before the holidays and prepare it for high temperatures. Start caring for it healthily with a few useful tips.
First and foremost, hydration.

Moisturising your hair is very important, especially when temperatures are high. It is worth moisturising it both from within and from outside. How do you moisturise your hair from within? First and foremost, drink plenty of water and eat fruit and vegetables, whose vitamins will further strengthen it. It is also worth considering additional supplementation before the holidays. As for moisturising hair from the outside, it is worth oiling it often with a base. How do you do it? Get yourself a moisturising mask you like, a little aloe gel, or simply some honey. This ingredient will work as moisture for your hair. First apply your chosen ingredient to the hair, then gradually and evenly coat it with your favourite oil, for example linseed oil or ordinary baby oil. Keep this mixture on your hair for at least 60 minutes. Afterwards, rinse your hair thoroughly with water and wash it with a gentle shampoo. If you want to oil your hair without a base, that is, simply applying oil on its own, hair coated with it can safely be left on for even several hours.

Visit the hairdresser before the holidays.
It is recommended to trim the ends before the holidays, to get rid of the weakest parts of the hair that are most vulnerable to damage and drying out. Trimming will refresh your hair somewhat and keep it healthy and strong. Besides trimming the ends, it is also worth cutting the hair more generally and trying a new, fashionable hairstyle. Short hair is very comfortable in summer, easy to tie back and does not bother you as much when it is hot. Don’t want to cut your hair? Get yourself a lovely, stylish hat, which will protect your hair a little from harmful sunlight and give you an amazing look!
Cosmetics worth having on hand.
In the holidays, air temperatures can be very high. UV radiation damages and dries out hair. It is therefore worth stocking up on cosmetics that protect against harmful sunlight. These are most often sprays, but increasingly you can even find shampoos and conditioners that protect against the sun. It is also very important to use conditioners and shampoos with an acidic pH, which give protection against external factors and seal the hair cuticle tightly. As a result, hair will be full of energy, springy and will retain moisture for longer.

Pay attention to your diet.
Moisturising your hair and using well-chosen cosmetics will certainly help you prepare it for summer and get through the hot days. There is, however, one more thing to pay attention to if you want to keep beautiful, shiny hair: diet. Remember to eat more vegetables, and reach most often for tomatoes, beetroot or radishes. Eat plenty of lettuce too, which is full of vitamins that also affect how your hair looks. Give up heavy meals, and if you find it hard to live without meat, opt for lean meat and light dishes. It is also worth eating plenty of fish, and choosing fruit and vegetable juices, which are rich in vitamins. It is also good to give up fizzy drinks, excessive sweets and snacks. Reduce the amount of sugar and salt in your diet, and you will definitely see results!
